seems .torrent files are a pain in the ass to deal with. (buying new drivers/software, etc.) any other suggestions?

I did'nt have to buy anything, the torrent application I use is free > http://www.utorrent.com/?client=utorrent1810

As well as the one to convert Flac to Wave > http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html

then there is the ole B&P, which can also be a pain in the ass (but not with most folks here)

what he said, except I use Trader's Little Helper to convert.
It's all free, and easy too.
